We’re proud to share that Hoffman | Forde has been named one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego by the San Diego Business Journal. It’s an honor for the whole firm, and it belongs to every person who shows up here each day and helps make this place what it is. 

We wanted to take a moment to talk about why this recognition means so much to us, and what we think sets our culture apart. 

A team that celebrates each other 

One thing that makes Hoffman | Forde different is how often people take the time to recognize each other’s work. A closed case gets a mention in a team meeting. A well written brief gets a shoutout from a colleague who noticed the effort behind it. A new team member’s first successful client call gets celebrated with the same energy as a partner closing a major matter. 

These moments aren’t organized from the top down. They happen because our team genuinely wants to see each other succeed. Over time, that habit of noticing good work and saying so out loud has become part of how we operate day to day, not something we have to remind people to do.

Law firms can sometimes run on strict hierarchy, where junior staff wait to be asked before speaking up and departments stay in their own lanes. That is not how we work.

What this means moving forward
