Education and Experience
Ms. Maheras graduated from SDSU in 2009 with a degree in Kinesiology and later pursued a certificate in non-profit management from USD. During her time at SDSU, she delved into the field of Kinesiology, exploring human movement and anatomy. She later earned her paralegal certificate while working under associate Dalia Astalos. As the Executive Director of Gamma Rho Lambda, she ran the national counsel, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to community engagement.
Additional Information
Outside of work, Ms. Maheras loves spending time at the beach, playing softball, and enjoying visits to museums, with her and her daughter’s favorite being the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park. She is quite the adventurer, having worked in various cities, managing a recording studio in Hawaii, and co-owning a stunt bike shop in Portland.
