Vincent J. Russo serves as Senior Counsel to Hoffman & Forde. His practice areas include trust and probate law, estate planning, probate administration, trust administration, trust and probate litigation, and real estate matters. With 25 years of legal experience, he has represented clients with sophisticated trust and probate transactional matters and disputes.
Education and Experience
Mr. Russo earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Los Angeles. He also attended Tulane University’s Center for European Union Law in Amsterdam. He is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada (inactive) and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Russo has extensive experience in trust and probate law with his practice focused on probate and trust law including estate planning (drafting wills, trusts, power(s) of attorney, advanced health care directives, and related documents), trust administration (trustee and beneficiary representation), probate of wills, will contests, and trust litigation in the probate courts. . He also has a strong business and corporate law background. As a former in-house counsel for a NASDAQ finance company, he managed corporate compliance, creditor’s rights, and business transactions, providing him with a strong foundation in corporate operations and risk management. His background also includes civil litigation, family law, and real estate matters, giving him a well-rounded legal perspective.
Additionally, Mr. Russo has significant experience in trust and probate litigation, representing beneficiaries, trustees, and heirs in will contests, trust disputes, and elder abuse cases.
