Daniel Forde leads the civil litigation practice group as well as the commercial real estate and finance practice group. Mr. Forde represents clients in matters involving business and commercial litigation, complex commercial transactions, development, leasing, secured lending transactions, acquisition, disposition, options, and title disputes. He has successfully represented large corporations, small businesses, and individuals in litigation and corporate matters. He has achieved great results for clients of all sizes in civil trials, arbitrations, and mediations. 

Education and Experience

Mr. Forde received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arizona in 2002. While at the University of Arizona, he served as an intern for two years for United States Senator John McCain. He also assisted Senator McCain with his presidential campaign. Mr. Forde earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in April 2006. During law school, he earned an Academic Achievement Award in Securities Regulation. During law school, Mr. Forde completed an internship with the San Diego City Attorney, Civil Division, working on numerous municipal bond offerings. In addition, he completed an internship at British Telecom in London, England, working with in-house counsel on important corporate governance matters.

Additional Information

During his previous role as an associate with Robbins Umeda, LLP, Mr. Forde concentrated on litigating corporate merger actions, complex class actions and securities fraud, and shareholder derivative actions, with an emphasis on corporate governance remediation. He has been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Mr. Forde is also a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers of San Diego, and the San Diego County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in California, Washington, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, and Northern Districts of California. He is an avid surfer and golfer, and enjoys coaching his children’s soccer and baseball teams.
