Amanda Allen
Senior Associate
Amanda Allen is a Senior Associate at Hoffman Forde. She is an experienced business and real estate litigator, winning trials in California Superior Court throughout Southern California. She represents individuals, businesses, property owners, non-profits, contractors, and entrepreneurs, advising clients on business and real estate transactions and litigation matters.
Ms. Allen advises and pursues cases on all matters related to real property, including easements, commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements, leases, breach of contract, construction disputes, and land use. Her background in transactional business and real estate gives her the upper edge in any dispute that may arise pre-litigation, at mediation, arbitration, or trial. She is known for her approachable and strategic legal counsel, risk management, and is a skilled advocate when litigation becomes necessary.
Education and Experience
Ms. Allen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy and Land Use from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was also a two-time Division I National Champion as a member of the UCLA softball team. During college, Ms. Allen was selected to the prestigious UCLA Center for American Politics and Public Policy Program to study and intern for a non-profit in Washington, D.C.
She received her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, with a certificate of emphasis in business and real estate law. Ms. Allen was recruited to the San Diego real estate firm, Hecht Solberg, where she began her career in law. During college, Ms. Allen competed for the UCLA Collegiate Triathlon team.
Ms. Allen was recognized with the 2011 Daily Transcript Top Young Attorney Finalist honor, and in 2013, she received the first San Diego Lawyers Club C. Hugh Friedman New Attorney Award for her leadership and professionalism in the legal community. Throughout her career, Ms. Allen has been recognized with awards as a rising star and leader in the San Diego real estate law community.

Additional Information
Ms. Allen is a San Diego native who enjoys CrossFit, hiking, reading, coaching softball, and spending time with her family. She is an avid Padres fan and continues to support her alma mater as a proud lifelong Bruin.
